You Guys! I Just Got Promoted!

I am busting at the seams with excitement and pride.

I am now the CEO of my 21-year-old communications company.

On Monday, I woke up as the founder of Get in Front Communications.

By 11 AM, I stopped everything and decided to give myself a long-overdue promotion to CEO.

It took years of me doing the same freakin’ thing…over and over…and expecting different results. (I know…it’s called madness.)

And as the hamster wheel began spinning on Monday, I made a decision. I DECIDED that this is not how a successful CEO operates day-to-day.

I’m getting real here so hold onto your hats.

And please, no judgment. “We teach what we need to learn,” said Jane Fonda.

You see, I’ve spent the past few months searching for the “right” Virtual Assistant.

That's fine, but not at the same time as a launch and new group program.

Again.

It’s a pattern I have flat out refused to change, even though I knew it wasn’t working.๐Ÿ˜’

I'm embarrassed at how many times I've created a launch plan, reverse engineered it, and then...

I got in my own dang way.๐Ÿ‘€

After years of mediocre launches and missed opportunities, I stopped. On Monday, I declared: Enough is Enough.

No more wasting money, time, and resources on well-intentioned support peeps.

They were ready to jump through hoops, only to witness last-minute strategy changes.

I left most of them frustrated and bewildered. Yes, I have apologized.

And, for the record, I do not have ADHD. My mother never had a reason to have me tested๐Ÿ˜Š

Seriously, this is not how successful CEOs who I admire and respect online run their businesses.

Trying to cram 10 pounds of crapola into a 5-pound bag.

My trying to “do it all” was me playing small.

Not up-leveling me. Making excuses. Why have I spent so much time and energy beating myself up for lackluster results?

I know I HAVE ABSOLUTE CONTROL over my schedule, mindset, and beliefs. It makes no sense. It’s like planning a party at your house and you’re the only one who doesn’t show up.

You know, all the things I teach…sound familiar? #dontjudgeme

So, what exactly clicked for me on Monday when the hamster wheel broke apart and I became CEO?

๐Ÿ’ฅThis is what I posted in my Mastermind group:

During another launch scramble, I have decided to stop the cycle I have been living for way toooo long.

I love my master class content and offer for the new program I will launch in mid-January. I first need the backend support with the right VA in place. It can’t happen during a launch.

So, I will spend the next few weeks getting the best VA onboarded before the launch.

That is what a successful CEO does.

I’ll also spend these few weeks writing the email sequence in advance and not the day before.

And to feel safe with money, I will follow up and help 3 1:1 clients.

Today I am re-working my launch schedule for mid-Jan.

I am no longer willing to be the problem/energy obstacle in my own business.

โœŒThen the coach who runs the Mastermind asked me to share what I learned in the past 24 hours that followed. Ya know when I finally decided to open up and became coachable.

My response and lessons learned:

JUST BE.

Just be grateful each moment for all that I have in the world.

Just be spacious.

Just be welcoming.

Just be curious.

Just be trusting- especially of myself.

Just be expecting good things to happen.

Just be me.๐Ÿ˜Š

And I KNOW at my deepest core level that when I turn things over to the universe, G-d, spirit, or whatever you wanna call it, the response comes quickly.

Look, I’ve done this deep work before. I’ve experienced the physical and emotional high vibe and buzz when I hit my stride. I’ve enjoyed the abundance that shows up when I let go and trust.

It’s long been time for me to up-level my impact so that I can do more of the work I undeniably feel called to do.

The beautiful blend of storytelling, speaking, and coaching --sprinkled with NLP. It brings graceful sales conversations so my clients can grow their businesses.

My first couple of days as CEO have been revealing, interesting, and just lovely.๐Ÿ’ฏ
